Would You Like to Be a Derby Doll?
San Diego’s own Roller Derby League, the Derby Dolls, are recruiting skaters!
Even if you’ve never skated, the San Diego Derby Dolls invite you to Derby Doll Boot Camp, where you’ll receive instruction before being put through a basic skills assessment.
The league is also recruiting referees, who must be at least 21 years of age, able to attend one practice per week, willing to referee all events, and be able to afford a uniform and occasional travel expenses.
If you’re not cut out for the competitive world of skating, you can still come to cheer on our teams. This evening, San Diego Hard Corp will go up against Montreal Roller Derby in Bout 1. Bout 2 will feature San Diego All-Stars against SAC City Rollers at Skateworld in Linda Vista. Go Dolls!
