This Weekend in San Diego County (July 28-29)

It’s a wild weekend around San Diego County. Comic-Con has virtually shut down San Diego, taking up nearly all of the hotel rooms and parking spaces, but that’s not the only game in the county. Another popular event is happening this weekend - the 27th Annual U.S. Open Sandcastle Competition is a must-see. The Del Mar Races continue, this weekend including a Microbrew Festival.

In addition to the usual attractions (SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, LegoLand, Balboa Park, Old Town, the beach), here’s a sampling of what you’ll find around San Diego county this weekend:
