The San Diego Special Edition - March 17, 2008
Welcome to the St. Patrick’s Day issue of The San Diego Special Edition! On this fine, festive holiday, we can chase a rainbow to the leprechaun’s pot of gold - or - we can all remember that we’ve already found the gold if we’re lucky enough to live in San Diego County!
Now on to our featured blogs for March.
business
This month
Debra Simpson presents Women In Business Symposium in San Diego California posted at North San Diego Business@Large, describing her post as an “Interview with Sheila McDonnell of the Women In Business Symposium.” Debra’s audio posts are always interesting, and a great way to start this edition.
economy
Next Dan Melson presents San Diego Housing Market March 2008: Heating Back Up posted at Dan Melson’s San Diego Real Estate and Mortgage Website. There a so many people suffering in this economy; I hope Dan’s prediction is right. Do you think the market has hit bottom?
family
I’ll have to give an adult language warning to the next post, but if you’re not easily offended, I highly recommend Melissa Weber’s post Scenes from a Food Court at Cords and Fleece. She’s absolutely hilarious!
human interest
Tim Schenck at The Best Places In San Diego! presents #8: Places to Reinvent Your Life saying,
“A lot of people in San Diego are originally from some place else. I think this is a nice opportunity to see what brought people to San Diego and why.”

Then Maria Palma invites us to,
“Learn more about a growing community just south of San Diego”
as she presents East Chula Vista: Rolling Hills Turns Into Vibrant Community posted at Home Solutions San Diego Blog. This rainbow reportedly appearing in Chula Vista after a “Mega-Rainstorm” may be just the one leading to that pot of gold I mentioned earlier.
sports
Now slide on over to Geoff Young, who shares some memories at his wonderful Padres blog Ducksnorts. Can you guess what a Ten Ton Pug and a 50 Foot Woman have to do with baseball? It will all makes perfect sense when you read his post Surrender.

I’ll bring it full circle by posting St. Patrick’s Day, San Diego Style from right here at The San Diego Traveler. While I’m at it, let’s tip a stout while I send you my favorite Irish blessing:
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
May the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of Her hand.

My best team of MLB is The San Diego Padres . This why I always fallow their games especially whenever I have some time. I’m always trying not o miss any of their game and hear about the team’s news. But The San Diego Padres tickets get more pricy especially when there are some hot games. But, if we’re really good fans we should try not to be mean when we’re talking about a favourite teams. It’s not only the Padres tickets that got pricy, but there are other major teams too, so the team needs our support and we should provide as much as we can.
