Ever a hot topic in San Diego county, Dan
Melson presents San Diego Real Estate Market: June 2008 Advice posted at Dan Melson’s San Diego Real Estate and Mortgage Website. Whether you’re a buyer or a seller, Dan’s perspective is always well thought-out, well written, and could help you cash in.
If you’re thinking of buying a home, but strapped for the full down payment, you should also read about the Nehemiah Down Payment Assistance Program in San Diego, posted by Brian Brady at Mortgage Rates Report.
It’s great to have these experts back with us this month.
family
T. Dalia has a gripe this month, as she presents It shouldn’t be the sex that matters posted at Daily Dalia, saying,
“Quantity of children does not mean quality!”
human interest
Arun presents The San Diego Nomad posted at Arun is Bringing You…Your Daily Remedy, describing his entry as,
“A funny recount of my latest move and the “security deposit snafu” that ensued courtesy of my old roommate”
So Arun, how does Darren feel about wrinkled clothes?

Writing about San Diego, we have three more bloggers to discover this month:
First, amanda s gives us the rundown on the San Diego County Fair posted at Staying Classy in San Diego. Amanda describes her blog as a “New travel guide written by San Diego locals.”
Then at The Occasional Odd Crop, a San Diego photoblog, Mark A. Dodge Medlin presents Don’t do it.
Last, but certainly not least, Steve presents Parking in Paradise, with all kinds of interesting San Diego parking facts, posted at BinaryWolf.
Welcome to all three of our new contributors, Amanda, Mark and Steve. We’re so glad to have the chance to discover your blogs this month.
To these, I’ll just add Who Decides What’s Normal? from right here at The San Diego Traveler.
That concludes this edition. I hope you enjoy it, and that your summer is off to a great start. Submit your blog article to the next edition of The San Diego Special Edition using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.

As always, we are indebted to you, Carole, for your work.
It might be fun to line up all of Dan Melson’s submissions at the end of the year; you’ll see how eerily prescient he can be

Thanks, Steve (BinaryWolf). I liked your parking sign even better, but I couldn’t use it without permission, so I had to find another one that would work. Glad you liked it. Thanks for joining us. I hope it brings some new eyes to your fine blog, and that you come back again.
