Take a Tour of the Omni Hotel
The Omni San Diego Hotel (opened in 2004) is located adjacent to Petco Park, which is just across the street from the San Diego Convention Center. This is all conveniently situated right in the Gaslamp District, so visitors can walk to restaurants and nightclubs from there, or take a short drive to Seaport Village for shopping and more restaurants.
One of the things that makes this hotel completely unique is that it is connected to Petco Park by a skybridge. In fact, it’s the only hotel to directly link to a major league facility in the U.S. If you’re a baseball fan, you can’t do better than the Omni, especially if you’re staying in one of the rooms overlooking Petco Park.
