During the whole month of October, children 3-11 can come to the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park and receive free general admission! Of course, they must be accompanied by an adult (who will have to pay for their own ticket), but this is a great deal, especially for families who couldn’t otherwise afford to spend the day at one of these world-famous attractions.

On the first and third Tuesday each month, San Diego 6 In The Morning With Marc Bailey And Lynda Martin includes a segment highlighting various animals and events at the Zoo and Wild Animal Park.
From noon to 1pm every Friday, News 8 also shows a segment from the San Diego Zoo on the noon News.

For the best view of the San Diego Wild Animal Park, you need only ride the Great Rift Lift to the viewing platform. Overlooking the Journey to Africa, the platform is over 3000 square feet of viewing and photo opportunities.
