Completing the weekend of historic tours of San Diego, Save Our Heritage Organisation (SOHO) will honor the community of Mission Hills as it celebrates its 100th birthday by focusing attention on just a few of its architectural and historically important private residences.
On Sunday, five homes of various styles and periods will be included in The Historic Home Tour. More than thirty of San Diego’s premiere bungalow courts will be shown in the first event of The SOHO Annual Historic Home Tour Weekend, beginning this Friday (March 14). The bungalow styles range from California bungalow to Spanish Revival, Moorish Revival, Pueblo and Moderne.
Bungalow courts are one of the most beloved icons of the Southern California lifestyle during the streetcar era, and are part of our history here in San Diego.
