Walk for MS

This weekend marks the first of two San Diego walks to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). MS is a disease with no known cause or cure. It is a chronic, often disabling disease of the central nervous system, characterized by mild symptoms such as numbness in the limbs, or severe symptoms that can include paralysis and/or loss of vision.
San Diego’s walks for MS are our part of the six-hundred walks planned throughout the world this year to raise funds to cure this disease.

Champagne Wishes and Chocolate Dreams

The one and only Robin Leach is coming to Point Loma to celebrate Creations in Chocolate on Thursday, March 13, at the McMillin Event Center.
Some of the city’s top dessertiers and Master Pastry Chefs will share an evening of extraordinary chocolate creations, as well as some smooth jazz music, a light dinner, champagne and wine and of course chocolate, all while commemorating Southern California’s first deaf group home, the Southern California Bridgman Home.
