Watch the streets of Little Italy come alive this weekend (8/30-9/1), with the good ol’ American (East Coast) past-time Stickball! Every year local teams come together to play for the right to call themselves the king of the block. This year’s tournament is an invitational for teams from New York and Puerto Rico to attend.

Tonight marks the beginning of start of San Diego Mardi Gras season, which culminates on FAT Tuesday, February 5th with the San Diego Gaslamp Mardi Gras Celebration and Parade.
The Little Italy Association begins this season hosting Carnevale, a family-friendly version of the traditional Italian festival and invites San Diegans to enjoy a special night of food, culture, live entertainment and celebration.
