Have you driven around Vista lately? Does it seem like they’re rebuilding everything? Well, you’re right, they are!
Vista Civic Center
The City of Vista broke ground on the new City’s Civic Center last week, which will replace the ramshackle 1931 school and trailers that currently houses city hall, replacing them with the beautiful facility below over the next two years.

Books Overdue? Have the Fines Waived!

Books Overdue? Have the Fines Waived!

If you’ve got books, CDs, DVDs or other library materials that are overdue, you’re in luck. Library amnesty day is coming soon.
If you bring the overdue items back to the San Diego County Library where you borrowed them on Friday, February 29, all fines will be waived! That’s right – no fines. Just get the materials back to the library or the bookdrop at the end of the month, or at latest before they open on Saturday morning (March 1) and  there will be no fines, no matter how long you’ve had the items.
