Michael Antonorsi is a certified French Chef from the École Supéríeure de Cuísíne Francaíse Ferrandi in Paris, where he also completed specialized training in Pastry and Chocolaterie at the École Lenotre. He also happens to be Master Chocolatier at Chuao (chew-WOW) Chocolatier in Carlsbad. Antonorsi will make special appearances at locations around the county over the next week:

Carlsbad’s own automotive company, Aptera, plans to follow up their upcoming all-electrical vehicle with a gasoline hybrid claiming to reach 300 mile per gallon!

The “plug-in series hybrid” or “range-extended electric vehicle” (aka Typ-1H) does not yet have a launch date announced, but if you’d like to be among the first to hear when they do, you can add yourself to their mailing list.

With gas prices soaring, Aptera (Greek for “wingless flight”) couldn’t pick a better time to launch a gasless vehicle. The Carlsbad automotive company has built an electric 3-wheel futuristic conveyance (the Aptera Typ-1) that reports to drive 120 miles on a single battery charge.

This “enclosed motorcycle” is charged by plugging it in for 2-4 hours. It can reach speeds exceeding 85 mph, and goes from 0-60 mph in under 10 seconds, which means that it can be driven on the freeway.

Easter will be celebrated in a big way around San Diego County, with services at Christian churches throughout the land and Easter brunches at many restaurants.
