It was a great month for capturing some of San Diego&#8217;s most beautiful architecture. Of course it bears noting that three of these images were taken in Balboa Park, where you&#8217;ll find some of our oldest and most gorgeous structures.

A frequent writer and lecturer on tile history, <strong>Joseph Taylor</strong> is president and cofounder of the Tile Heritage Foundation. A craftswoman and mixed media artist, <strong>Sheila Menzies</strong> is a board member and cofounder of the Tile Heritage Foundation.</p>

The bungalow styles range from California bungalow to Spanish Revival, Moorish Revival, Pueblo and Moderne. </p>
<p>Bungalow courts are one of the most beloved icons of the Southern California lifestyle during the streetcar era, and are part of our history here in San Diego.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://sohosandiego.org/index.htm" target="_blank">Save Our Heritage Organisation (SOHO)</a> is delighted to present this program for the fourth year to acquaint San Diegans with the wealth of bungalow courts remaining intact in our city. </p>
<p>Tour Guides for this event will be Jaye Furlonger and Bonnie Poppe. With a Masters Degree in Public History from USD, <b>Jaye Furlonger</b> is an authority on San Diego&#8217;s bygone Hollywood Burlesque Theatre and works as an architectural historian for IS Architecture in La Jolla. <b>Bonnie Poppe</b> is a historic homeowner, restorationist and preservation advocate.</p>
