Surf Films Showing at the Carlsbad Library
It may not feel like it in the midst of this May gray, but summer’s coming. What better preparation to put us all in the mood for the beach than a series of surf films?
That’s just what you’ll find at the Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium at Carlsbad City Library, and admission is free.
- This evening at 6 p.m., “Surfing for Life“
- On May 23 at 6 p.m., “Step Into Liquid“
- On May 30 at 6 p.m., “Big Wednesday“
If you get to the library by 5:30, you can catch the behind-the-scenes special features on the DVD. There will also be film discussions before and after the viewing with North County Times columnist Ann Zivotsky.
For more information, contact:
(760) 602-2012 or see the library announcement
(If you don’t get the chance to attend any of these films, they are all also available for purchase through the links above to Amazon.com.)
