Summer Fun at the Carnival of Cities
This week’s Carnival of Cities is a big one, which means lots of traveling and fun for everyone. Our host is This non-American Life, who advises us:
Time to break out the cotton candy - you’re at the carnival. Travel the world without leaving your couch (or cubicle)! Sure beats doing stuff.
This week, I had the hardest time so far trying to pick a favorite article or place. I just had to come up with more categories to award all of the winners:
Most Exotic Place: If You Were In an Island by Grace at Sandier Pastures.
Loveliest Memoir: Smallwood June 2007, by Richard at German Diary.
Most Amusing Article: Arun’s Indian Excursion at Arun is Bringing You…Your Daily Remedy.
Wildest Party: Running of the Rollergirls by Mallory Whitfield at Blogging New Orleans.
Best Nature Article: Close Encounters with Reindeer by Stacey at The Travels of Stacey.
Best Places to Shop: Ten Street Markets in Paris by Lynn Rodriguez at The Paris Traveler.
Of course, I recommend that you go to This non-American Life to read all of the articles in this week’s carnival (including mine).
If you write a blog about your city (or your travels), submit your own entry to the next edition, which will be hosted by Buenos Aires Argentina Guide. To see past and future Carnivals of Cities, go to Home Turf Media’s Carnival site.

You’re welcome, Grace. It’s an amazing place and I wish that I could see it in person, like you can.
