San Diegans Reach Out to Chinese Earthquake Victims
According to the Chinese Service Center of San Diego, there are 30,750 Chinese people living in San Diego county (as of the last census). This represents about 1.9% of our population. But of course, you don’t have to be Chinese to relate to the victims of yesterday’s massive earthquake in China.
With death tolls climbing toward 12,000, people across the county, the country, and the world are looking for ways to reach out and help.
If you’d like to help, the Chinese Service Center in Kearny Mesa is accepting donations to assist the survivors:
