San Diegans Protest for Peace
There’s a peace movement growing across the nation, and last night San Diegans came together to join in.
Members of MoveOn.org planned war protests in Vista, Cardiff, Escondido and Rancho Bernardo, joining over 500 vigils across the country for National Take a Stand Day.
The purpose of the protests was:
“to remember the human cost of the war and urge members of Congress to stand up in September and end this endless war.”

If you’d like to demonstrate your own hope for peace, there are more vigils being planned for September, and you can enter your zip code here to find one near you. If there’s none planned yet in your area, why not plan one of your own?
We as San Diegans love our military. Don’t you think it’s time we bring them home?
