Our Hometown Heroes in Beijing
Are you wondering if there are any San Diegans to cheer for at this year’s Olympics? Of course there are! You can’t have a summer Olympics without San Diegans!
There are actually 22 athletes in Team USA that are from San Diego County. Many others spent time here, some in school and others training at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista.

Great info! is there a good site where you can easily find the hometown of Olympic athletes without looking at them individually?

Thanks, Katherine. I haven’t seen a site that lists the athletes by their hometown. http://www.nbcolympics.com/athletes/index.html lists bios on all of the athletes, but you can only narrow it down by sport, country, or name.
