Meerkat Fight at the Wild Animal Park

One of my favorite exhibits at any zoo is alway the .  Something about them just makes me want to watch them for hours.  Perhaps I’ve seen a few too many times, but I can see real personalities when I look at them.

On my last visit to the , the meerkats were fighting.  I don’t know if it’s part of a mating ritual, or some kind of fight for leadership of the pack, but I took a little video and a few pictures so you can watch and figure it out for yourself.  I hope you enjoy watching these little critters as much as I do.

    You really CAN see the personalities in the animals. Even our domestic ones have a whole body language thing going on! It’s people watching with fur! :) I love the butterflies by the way!
