by Carole A. Lane on May 7th, 2008

Kangaroo Wine; Photo by auer1816Yellow Tail Wine surveyed a sample of 900 adults across America in order to determine which are the ten most sparkling cities.

What makes a city sparkle?

More than half of survey respondents said that what makes a city sparkle is “breathtaking scenery” (61%) and “great night life” (53%).

According to Yellow Tail’s definition:

“It’s the unique energy that invigorates you from the moment you arrive.”

The top ten

Fifty-eight percent of respondents picked San Diego!  The other top cities chosen (in descending order) are:

  • Las Vegas
  • New York
  • Orlando
  • San Francisco
  • New Orleans
  • South Beach-Miami
  • Santa Monica
  • Los Angeles
  • Martha’s Vineyard

Your vote can make the difference.  Go to http://www.yellowtailwineusa.com/#/fun/always-sparkle/ and vote for the most sparkling city before June 15.

The Most Sparkling City will be unveiled during a sparkling event in the winning city the week of July 4, in conjunction with Independence Day.
