Home Design, Landscaping and Stupid Pet Tricks?

San Diego’s top interior designers and landscape architects will display their talents at the San Diego Home Design & Landscape Expo, being held at the San Diego Convention Center this weekend. This is really three shows in one - Home Design and Decor, Outdoor Living, and Home Remodeling and Renovation, with more than 350 exhibitors and experts on hand.

The International Interior Design Association (IiDa) will celebrate a century of fabulous design, showcasing six rooms newly designed for this year’s show. If you bring your plans, photos and sketches, you can sign up for a free consultation with a certified IiDa Designer and get their expert advice right there at the show.

Tour the Cabin in the Woods, a factory-built home offered by Crown Pacific Homes, together with California Suncoast Homes and Oftendahl and Jackson Construction.

Celebrity guests include Brooks Utley (from HGTV’s “Designed to Sell”), Schar Ward and Deb Varin (authors and hosts of Cleaning with Clara Seminars), and Steven J. Whittle (host of Better Homes & Gardens and Green Works Living Green Tour, and former co-host and carpenter of HGTV’s “Bad Bad Bath” and “Save My Bath”).

They’ll even be holding Stupid Pet Trick Auditions for “Late Show with David Letterman!” Take a break and stop by for a few laughs and cheer on your favorite furry or feathery performers while you’re there.
