Help Local Foster Kids

Has school supplies shopping become a chore ?There are nearly 80,000 children in the California foster care system, approximately 6,222 in San Diego county. Sleep Train is joining forces with specific and targeted non-profit organizations who support foster youth.

Can you help?

 

School Supplies Drive Now Through September 15

To help local foster kids, Sleep Train is collecting school supplies for California foster kids. While you’re out picking out school supplies for your children, why not pick up an extra pack of pencils or some notebook paper for a foster child? Bring your gifts of new pencils, pens, erasers and paper to Sleep Train for foster kids of all ages. Backpacks, highlighters and pocket dictionaries can make a difference for older kids.

All items donated to Sleep Train Foster Kids are distributed to the agencies listed here. As you’ll note, they include these two agencies in San Diego county:
