First Night Escondido
For the 13th year, a family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration will be held in Escondido. First Night Escondido is an alcohol- and drug-free celebration with live music, dancing, activities for kids, midnight fireworks, and more at California Center for the Arts (340 North Escondido Boulevard) and along Grand Avenue in downtown Escondido.
Each year First Night Escondido presents an event that celebrates community, the arts, and the New Year with 12 stages of music and dance, the best of restaurant and vendor foods, hands-on art activities, and two dazzling fireworks displays!
What can you expect this year?

An amazing laser light show will be overhead throughout the night at the Main Stage in Grape Day Park.

Follow the amazing Chinese Dragon Parade starting at City Hall at 9pm!
The celebration begins at 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, and continues until midnight.
