Children Running Wild in Carlsbad!

On March 31,  (the kids’ marathon) will commence with divisions for all age groups 12 years and under.  This is the 18th year for this event.

Every child is a champion! The emphasis is on fun, not speed. At the North Island Credit Union Junior Carlsbad, every child is a winner and receives a Finisher’s medal, goodie bag, and official race T-shirt.

The marathon benefits Kids are Worth a Million, a fund-raising program of the Carlsbad Educational Foundation.

A pre-registration party will be held at on March 30, from 3-6 p.m.

You can for online for $12.  Free gifts will go to the first 500 entrants, courtesy of .  Special prizes and awards will also go to the top 3 boys and girls in each age group between 5 and 12 years.

Post-Race Festivities

Plan to stick around after the race for some live entertainment, free refreshments, prize drawings, and a free Health & Fitness Expo where you’ll see the latest in fitness products, running shoes, sports apparel and more.
