Champagne Wishes and Chocolate Dreams
The one and only Robin Leach is coming to Point Loma to celebrate Creations in Chocolate on Thursday, March 13, at the McMillin Event Center.
Some of the city’s top dessertiers and Master Pastry Chefs will share an evening of extraordinary chocolate creations, as well as some smooth jazz music, a light dinner, champagne and wine and of course chocolate, all while commemorating Southern California’s first deaf group home, the Southern California Bridgman Home.
In April of 2007, San Diego Youth & Community Services opened the Bridgman Home, which is located in Chula Vista. It serves as a safe, culturally affirming home for deaf and hard of hearing youth ages 12 to 18, who have been abused, neglected, or otherwise need help, from all over San Diego County.
