Carnival of Cities in Dubai

by Carole A. Lane on September 18th, 2007

carnival-logo This week’s Carnival of Cities starts in Dubai for the first time, hosted at Sandier Pastures.

Each of the articles in this week’s carnival is a good read in it’s own right, but as usual, I have favorites. So, under no authority whatsoever, I’m giving the following awards:

Of course, I recommend that you go to Sandier Pastures to read all of the articles (including mine).

If you write a blog about your city (or your travels), your own entry to the next edition, which will be hosted by Intelligent Travel. To see past and future Carnivals of Cities, go to .

If you write about San Diego, you are also invited to participate in The San Diego Special Edition, a monthly blog carnival all about San Diego.

Thanks so much! I haven’t had time to go read all the entries yet, but I definitely look forward to doing so…even more so after reading your thoughts on some of the entries :)

You’re certainly welcome, sognatrice. Yours was definitely a pillar article that I’m sure will draw people to your blog for years to come. Definitely a must-read for locals and tourists alike. Great work! (I just wish that I could visit.)

Thank you so much for the “award” highlighting my post. Someone has already come to visit and the trail led back to find you. With Halloween fast approaching, I recommend a haunting hotel experience. Now, I have to get reading.
