Bridal Gown Sale to Benefit Those with Breast Cancer
Are you looking for your wedding gown? If you won’t be wearing your mother’s hand-me-down wedding dress for your nuptials, this event is probably the best deal that you’re going to find in San Diego.
The Brides Against Breast Cancer wedding gown sale is the biggest fundraising event for the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation, which grants wishes to women and men with stage 4 terminal breast cancer. All of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to the foundation’s ‘Dream Fulfillment Fund.’
At the sale there will be a gown for every bride and every budget! Dresses range from $99 to $799, including designer dresses valued up to $15,000, with sizes 4 to 44! The dress collection consists of new gowns donated by designers and bridal shops, as well as dresses that have been donated by women throughout the country. Women in San Diego may donate their dresses at the event.
The San Diego Brides Against Breast Cancer wedding gown sale takes place on Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23 from 10am-6pm at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. There is a VIP hour both days from 9am-10am, in which brides are able to avoid the crowds by making a $20 donation to Making Memories.
Making Memories also encourages you to have a “Pink Envelope Bridal Shower,” including Pink Donation Envelopes in your shower invitations, and sending the donations to Making Memories, along with your bridal shower photos to be posted on their site.
Making Memories can also help you plan a “Pink Envelope Wedding Reception.”
