Books Overdue? Have the Fines Waived!

by Carole A. Lane on February 15th, 2008

j0305811 If you’ve got books, CDs, DVDs or other library materials that are overdue, you’re in luck. Library amnesty day is coming soon.

If you bring the overdue items back to the San Diego County Library where you borrowed them on Friday, February 29, all fines will be waived! That’s right - no fines. Just get the materials back to the library or the bookdrop at the end of the month, or at latest before they open on Saturday morning (March 1) and  there wj0409049ill be no fines, no matter how long you’ve had the items.

This is a great opportunity to get back in good standing at your local library, and save yourself some money too. If you’re not sure if you have overdue books or materials, you can check online (entering in your library card number), or ask a librarian to check for you.

Don’t let overdue books cause you to lose out on this wonderful resource.
