Sustainability Fair
San Diegans are joining forces for a green cause. On Tuesday, August 19, the California Center for Sustainable Energy (CCSE) is hosting the 2008 Sustainability Fair, which will feature vendor displays and workshops, providing the latest technology and information in sustainable energy, water use, recycling and waste management.
Attendees are encouraged to trade in up to five incandescent light bulbs for energy-efficient compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs) (offer limited to 5 bulbs per calendar year per residence). Please bring a valid California ID and/or your SDG&E bill. Visitors can also check out drought resistant landscape designs, learn about the latest green cleaning products and discover ways to improve energy efficiency.
Speakers will share information to assist individuals and businesses in integrating sustainable and energy-efficient technologies, water conservation measures and recycling.
