Açai Berries Taking Over San Diego?
Have you tried açai berries yet?
I was invited to a MonaVie tasting party a couple of weeks ago, and until then, I’d never heard of açai berries (and I’ve even vacationed in the Amazon Jungle!) MonaVie is a juice containing açai berries (from Brazil) and 18 other fruits; the bottles are sold through home-distributors much like Avon.
Today I overhead another mom at my daughter’s tennis class talking about açai berries, and when I got home I noticed Açai: Berry Good for You? in San Diego Magazine, which lists many places offering açai berries throughout San Diego.
I guess it’s official – açai berries are taking over San Diego!
