Oddest Collectible at Comic-Con Tonight
Going through the Exhibit Hall at Comic-Con this evening, there were more strange collectibles than one could ever wish for, but I’d have to pick “Haminal” as the oddest collectible this year.
As you can see Haminal can be purchased separately, in a can, or as part of a piece of sushi. Haminal may
also be accompanied by a piece of pineapple and/or a cherry. There’s even a “Canned Haminal” book.
You can see photos of Haminal’s last visit to Comic-Con in 2006 on the Haminal website, or learn about the history of this charming little creature.
Very cute. Very odd. Be sure to get yours before they sell out.

Wow that does look like a strange collectible but unique at the same time. This event is so large I can’t imagine some of the other little goodies available.
You’re right. There are TONS of other goodies, and I’ll keep posting them when I have time between or after each day’s sessions. There’s so much going on at Comic-Con, it’s hard to find time to blog about it all!
DO WANT… but just a heads up before you get hate mails – musubi is not exactly sushi, even though they look similar.
Thanks, cec. I stand corrected. For anyone else interested, here’s a wikipedia on Spam Musubi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_musubi.
