Healthy Dining at LEGOLAND
Of all of the California theme parks, LEGOLAND seems to do the best job of catering to the healthy eaters among us. Nearly all of their restaurants have some healthy choices, but those with special dietary needs will really appreciate the following options.
Please note that they will accommodate you even better with prior notice of your needs 72 hours ahead, so be sure to email them before your visit if you have additional dietary concerns:
Gluten Free Choices
- A selection of gluten free grab-n-go snack items are available at The Market
- Chicken breast (request non-marinated and allow up to 15 minutes cooking time), salmon, cod, hamburger, turkey, and a variety of salads (Upper Deck Sports Café)
- Chicken without sauce (request non-marinated chicken), baked potato, corn on the cob, salad (Knights’ Table)
- Chicken Stir Fry without sauce (Funtown Market)
- Gluten free pasta with marinara sauce,
72-hour advance notice please (Ristorante Brickolini) - Tuna salad, turkey, roast beef (Garden Restaurant)

Dairy-free and Egg-free Choices
- Hamburgers and Hebrew National hot dogs are dairy free; however, buns do contain Lactylate (Burger Stop, Funtown Dog or Castle Burger)
- Fries are dairy free, also whey or casein free (all locations)
- Granny’s Apple Fries are dairy free (without cream-based sauce)
- Chicken breast pieces or kids meal are dairy and egg free (Funtown Market)
- Penne Marinara are dairy and egg free (Ristorante Brickolini)
Soy-free choices
- Plain chicken breast, burger patty, cod or salmon with steamed vegetables (Upper Deck Sports Cafe)
Vegetarian Choices
- Penne Alfredo (made fresh to order with imported Italian cheese, please request that your order be prepared with vegetable stock)
- Penne Marinara
- Vegetable or Margherita pizza (Ristorante Brickolini)
- Vegetable Stir Fry on a bed of jasmine white rice with a full range salad bar (Funtown Market)
- Caprese Panini Pesto with fresh mozzarella, tomato and red onion on whole grain baguette and homemade Tomato Bisque (Garden Restaurant)
In addition, they can modify many of their entrees at the Upper Deck Sports Café to suit your dietary needs. They offer Garden burgers, a variety of specialty salads and sandwiches that can be prepared without meat.
Vegan Choices
- Full range salad bar or Vegetable Stir Fry, Linguini Pasta with Tomatoes (Funtown Market)
- Entree salads (Upper Deck) Sports Café
- Penne Marinara (Ristorante Brickolini)
Note that these meals generally all come with protein, however their food station attendants will gladly sterilize utensils on request.
