If you’ve got books, CDs, DVDs or other library materials that are overdue, you’re in luck. Library amnesty day is coming soon.
If you bring the overdue items back to the San Diego County Library where you borrowed them on Friday, February 29, all fines will be waived! That’s right – no fines. President Lincoln Coming to Celebrate Presidents’ Day

The San Diego Model Railroad Museum is hosting a family event on Sunday, February 17 to celebrate Presidents’ Day. President Lincoln will share his stories with guests in the Pacific Beach Room every half hour, from 11 am – 3 pm.
The Museum will also be showcasing various examples of past presidential railcars, along with detailed descriptions about US presidents and railroads.
Favorite snacks and refreshments of former presidents and a model train activity will be offered to all guests.
