Have a Delicious Night
If you’ve ever tried to find a restaurant on Valentine’s night (or any really special occasion), you know that there’s no greater mood-killer for a hot date than driving from restaurant to restaurant only to be turned away.
You need a reservation! The restaurants that don’t take reservations (like the Claim Jumper and The Cheesecake Factory) usually have a line a mile long on the best date nights.
If you fear you’ve waited too long, and that there’s not a table left in town, check out OpenTable.com. On this site, you’ll find many of San Diego county’s fine restaurants. Select a general location (San Diego, East County, North County, etc), enter the date, the size of your party, and click on Find a Table.
A list of restaurants will appear, along with location, cuisine, price range, and available times. You can click on a restaurant for more details, or a time to make a reservation.
Don’t wait. Put in your reservation now, and you can start planning the rest of your delicious date. For ideas about this, see The Best Places for San Diegans in Love.
