Disney’s High School Musical On Tour!
On the 26th, Disney’s High School Musical On Tour! will premiere at the San Diego Civic Theatre, playing through the 30th.
Two of San Diego’s alum will be starring in this production. Chandra Lee Schwartz, a native of Oceanside who attended San Marcos High, will star as mean girl Sharpay. Lemon Grove’s Ellen Harvey attended Helix High, and will play Ms. Darbus, the drama teacher.
I know what young girls around the county will be hoping to find in their stockings this Christmas. (No, not Troy – tickets to HSM On Tour!)

I don’t know if it will be coming to the Philippines anytime soon, but if you go to http://tv.disney.go.com/disneychannel/originalmovies/myschoolmusical/cds/index.html, they’re inviting you to create your own HSM video and upload it to the Disney site. Who knows? Maybe you’ll be discovered there!
