Road Conditions in San Diego County

Due to the fires in the county, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is asking that the public evacuate immediately when asked, or when you’re in danger.

If you’re trying to evacuate, and don’t know which roads are open, go to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page and select San Diego from the Areas drop down menu. Click on the Go! button and wait a minute or two for the page to load. The screen refreshes every 60 seconds, providing up-to-the-minute traffic alerts.

If you’re not in a fire area, please stay off the roads, to make room for emergency vehicles and evacuees.
