The first step in finding a public school is figuring out which school district you’re in.  There are 42 school districts in San Diego County. If you’re in San Diego County, you’re certainly in one of these districts:

Global Village

EarthFair 2007

On April 22, the the world’s largest annual environmental fair and Earth Day celebration will take place in Balboa Park.  This is the18th annual EarthFair, with around 60,000 visitors expected to attend.

Meerkat Fight at the Wild Animal Park

The Orchids are in Bloom

The orchid show is now in bloom at San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park.  This annual event coincides with the Butterfly exhibit every year, and probably has a following nearly as large.

It’s Butterfly Season at the Wild Animal Park

At this time every year, the San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park converts half of Hidden Jungle, a walk-through aviary, into a neo-tropical paradise for approximately 10,000  butterflies.

New Photo Gallery in Oceanside

I recently had the pleasure of  visiting the Oceanside Underground Photo Gallery, a new photographic gallery located near downtown Oceanside.  It sits tucked in the lower lot behind OPT (Oceanside Photo & Telescope) at 918 Mission Ave., Suite B, and if you didn’t know it was there, it would be easy to miss.
