Meerkat Fight at the Wild Animal Park
One of my favorite exhibits at any zoo is alway the meerkats. Something about them just makes me want to watch them for hours. Perhaps I’ve seen The Lion King a few too many times, but I can see real personalities when I look at them.
On my last visit to the Wild Animal Park, the meerkats were fighting. I don’t know if it’s part of a mating ritual, or some kind of fight for leadership of the pack, but I took a little video and a few pictures so you can watch and figure it out for yourself. I hope you enjoy watching these little critters as much as I do.

You really CAN see the personalities in the animals. Even our domestic ones have a whole body language thing going on! It’s people watching with fur!
