Hummingbirds are a common site in San Diego, and I’ll never tire of watching them. I make my own nectar and fill a feeder each spring, attaching it to my kitchen window so that I’m sure to see them several times a day. My kids are just as thrilled with our little friends’ visits, identifying them by the colors on their chests, and naming them so that we can tell who’s at the window.
If you have children, and you haven’t been to a Pump it Up party yet, I’m sure it’s just a matter of time. This is the new “in” party place for kids, and they can’t wait to jump in.

The show, Beach Patrol: San Diego, is a reality series much like Cops, but it involves the lifeguards that patrol San Diego beaches, dealing with water rescues and crimes.
