New Direct Flights Offered in San Diego
If you live in San Diego county, and do any air travel, you’ve probably discovered that the vast majority of the flights to and from San Diego include stops in destinations you had no intention of visiting. Generally, flights out of San Diego go directly to Los Angeles, Phoenix, or some other “hub” city, where you’ll sit through a layover of two or (sometimes many) more hours before boarding another plane to your real destination.
Beginning today, there are nine more cities that you can fly to directly. ExpressJet Airlines has begun ticketing for non-stop service from San Diego International Airport (Lindbergh Field) to the following cities:

- Boise, ID
- Colorado Springs, CO
- Spokane, WA
- Omaha, NE
- Oklahoma City, OK
- Tulsa, OK
