It’s Museum Month in San Diego

San Diego was recently named “,” according to Travelocity. They cite our abundance of museums, galleries, theatre and film festivals all as proof, as well as our antique stores, and fine dining. Are you part of this phenomenon?

If not, now’s the time. February is Museum Month in San Diego. Museum Month was created in 1989 to promote awareness of the San Diego region’s museums, historical sites, educational institutions and cultural offerings. This is the 18th year San Diegans will have the opportunity to join the celebration.

How can you participate?

First, go to any of San Diego County Macy’s Stores. They’re located at:

At Macy’s, you can pick up a museum brochure which contains a pass good for half-off admission at 33 of San Diego County’s museums.
