Free Museums in San Diego

If you’d like to participate in Museum Month, but can’t afford the price of admission, even at half price, don’t give up. 

Some of San Diego’s museums offer free admission all year round:

Other museums are free on Tuesdays.

On the first Tuesday of every month, these museums are free to San Diego County residents and active military:

You should note that some museums may offer complimentary admission to their permanent collections only, and charge admission to special exhibitions or films.
